Process & Methodology
Your project will be assigned to a project manager who will guide you through our development steps, keep you up-to-date on the project status and provide an effective way for you to actively participate in the process.
Our development method includes the following steps:
1. Discovery
We meet and collaborate to create a list of major features to incorporate in a Requirements Document.
2. Requirements and Design Compositions
Based on deliverables outlined in the requirements document, WebXemplar outlines the recommended application features, requirements for deployment, possible future enhancements and suggested maintenance. If applicable, various composition sheets for the site "look and feel" will also be created and presented for approval.
3. Design and Implementation
During this phase, a functional system that satisfies the requirements will be built.
4. Test
WebXemplar runs a deployment on our systems, to fix bugs, add last minute features, and confirm that the system meets your requirements.
5. Deployment
We support and guide you through the launch process during application and database to server transfer. WebXemplar provides a one-time training session for your staff, addressing site usage and administration.
6. Post-Deployment Support
For two weeks, WebXemplar directly supports and resolves any changes or questions that may be necessary. Beyond this point, we can assist you in maintenance and improvements with the application as you respond to user requests and as your ideas evolve. We provide you with around the clock support and direct access to the site developers.
With every project we undertake, we walk our customers through the same six phases of execution.
WebXemplar provides you with an online "Preview" area where you can track the development of your project. This secured area enables you to view documents and schedules, review compositions and layouts, check deliverable lists, and more.
Quality Assurance
WebXemplar’s project planning policy ensures quality when managing ongoing projects. The policy
WebXemplar’s QA Team addresses the quality assurance needs at every phase of the development process.
Guidelines establish:
